Due to be published at the end of 2026, this book examines the British Army's experiment with 'boy soldier battalions' during the Napoleonic Wars.
Published in the 104th Volume of the Society for Army Historical Research's journal. This article recounts the experience of my Great-Great Grandfather, Corporal Henry Joseph Davis, who was awarded the DSO for withdrawing all of 60th Brigade's wounded from the village of Arvillers during the German Army's Spring Offensive in 1918.
